Terms of Use

Effective date: 6 November 2026 | Last updated: 6 November 2026

1 About Robotico

These Terms of Use apply to robotico.com.au and its tools and content. The website is operated by Internet Plus Pty Ltd (ABN 68 121 770 152), trading as Robotico. You can contact us at hello@robotico.com.au.

In these Terms, Website means robotico.com.au and its tools and content. The words we, us and our refer to Internet Plus Pty Ltd trading as Robotico.

Please read these Terms before using the Website. By using the Website after these Terms have been brought to your attention, you agree to them to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, please stop using the Website. Your rights under laws that cannot be excluded continue to apply regardless of these Terms.

The Disclaimer below explains the limits of our information and forms part of these Terms. The Privacy Notice at https://robotico.com.au/blog/#blog-privacy explains how information is handled. Referring to that notice does not itself create consent where the law requires separate consent. If the Disclaimer conflicts with these Terms, the provision that better preserves your non-excludable legal rights applies; otherwise these Terms prevail.

2 What the Website does

Robotico helps people in Australia research domestic robots and find shopping starting points. Its current categories include robot lawn mowers, robot vacuums, robotic pool cleaners, window cleaners and pool surface skimmers. Available categories and tools may change.

The Website includes questions, filters, shopping links and editorial material.

Robotico provides shopping links to external sellers. You complete any purchase with the seller identified at checkout. Check the final price, delivery charges and purchase terms with that seller. Your legal rights in relation to Robotico’s own conduct continue to apply.

The Website does not cover every product, retailer or available offer. A shopping link is not a whole-of-market comparison, a product certification or a promise that the linked results are the cheapest or most suitable options. Any editorial recommendation should be read in its stated context.

3 Using search tools and shopping links

Your description or answers may be used to select a category, prefill questions or construct a retailer search. Review those answers and change any incorrect assumptions. Leave an answer unknown if you cannot provide it reliably.

Read the explanation accompanying each shopping option. A retailer filter may represent only some of your requirements. Requirements that are not applied, or that the retailer cannot represent, still need to be checked against the individual product. Opening a shopping link does not establish that every result meets your needs.

Retailers may use different definitions, ranges, default sorting or product data. Their links, filters, results and stock can change. Check the destination page rather than relying only on the label of a Robotico link. The order of products on a seller’s site does not indicate a Robotico recommendation.

Our tools do not inspect your home, lawn, pool or windows. A result cannot assess all physical conditions, installation requirements or safety issues. It is a research aid, not a site inspection or a professional recommendation for your particular property.

4 Editorial material and product information

Buying guides, comparisons, reviews and other editorial material may contain research, summaries and opinions. A reference to a product does not mean we have personally tested it. Read any testing statement, source, date, criteria or limitation on the relevant page.

Product specifications, prices, features, availability and retailer terms may become outdated. Manufacturer claims and retailer descriptions are not the same as independently verified test results. Product variants, accessories and regional versions may differ, even where names or images are similar.

Before buying, confirm the exact model and included equipment, Australian suitability, installation and maintenance needs, safety instructions, total price including applicable taxes and delivery, ongoing costs, warranty and return terms. Check relevant manufacturer materials and ask the seller about points that affect your decision.

Images may be illustrative. Where an image is labelled as a concept or AI-generated image, it is not evidence of an actual product, feature, performance result or endorsement.

5 Safe and suitable use

Follow the instructions and safety warnings for the product you buy. Website content does not replace a manufacturer’s manual, qualified installation advice or an assessment of hazards at the place of use. Do not treat a description of automated operation as a promise that a machine can safely be left unattended.

For example, check mower slope and boundary limits; floor and carpet compatibility; pool dimensions and surfaces; and window type, working height and required fall protection. Consider children, pets, water, electrical equipment and other relevant hazards. These examples are not a complete safety checklist. Obtain qualified advice when needed.

6 Third party websites and purchases

External websites are operated by their own providers and have their own terms and privacy practices. Check the identity of the actual seller before paying, especially where a marketplace lists third-party sellers. The presence of a link alone is not a guarantee of the seller’s service or a product’s performance.

The seller is responsible for fulfilling its sale contract, including payment, delivery and remedies it must provide under applicable law. Direct order and delivery enquiries to the seller. You may also have rights against a manufacturer or another person under the law. Nothing here requires you to give up those rights or prevents a claim against Robotico for its own conduct.

We do not control external websites. An external change or failure is not, by itself, a breach by Robotico. This does not excuse any breach of our own legal obligations, representations or responsibilities.

7 Commercial relationships

Our commercial disclosure is available at https://robotico.com.au/blog/#read-affiliate-disclosure. It identifies the status and date of the arrangements described there. Do not assume that an earlier statement remains current indefinitely.

If we introduce or change affiliate commissions, sponsorships, paid placement, gifted products or product loans, we will update the disclosure and clearly identify the relevant arrangement in affected content or shopping links. Where a commercial arrangement influences inclusion, placement or ranking, we will explain that influence where the user encounters the result.

A commercial label does not replace the need to assess the product and seller. Whether we receive a benefit does not change your non-excludable consumer rights.

8 Responsible use and intellectual property

You may access the Website and save or print reasonable extracts for your own research, provided you retain applicable ownership notices. This permission does not limit any use permitted by copyright law. Other use of protected Website material requires permission from the relevant rights holder.

Our content, design and branding, and material used under licence, remain the property of their respective rights holders. Product names, trademarks and third-party images belong to their owners. Their appearance does not by itself imply affiliation, sponsorship or approval.

You must not use the Website unlawfully, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorised access, bypass security controls, or interfere with the Website’s operation. You must not use automated extraction in a way that materially disrupts the service or infringes another person’s rights. Ordinary linking, lawful quotation and other legally permitted use are not prohibited by this clause.

Do not send information you are not entitled to share. Please leave personal and sensitive details out of robot-search descriptions. If you email material to us, you permit us to use it only as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry and administer the service, subject to our Privacy Notice and applicable law. Emailing us does not grant permission to publish your message as a testimonial.

9 Availability and changes to the service

The Website may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, technical failures or events outside our reasonable control. We do not promise uninterrupted access. We may make reasonable changes to free features or remove outdated content.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity, a material breach of these Terms, a security risk or material disruption. Any restriction should be proportionate to the issue. You may contact us to ask about an access restriction. This clause does not remove accrued rights or any remedy required by law.

10 Your legal rights and our responsibility

Nothing in these Terms, the Disclaimer or the Website excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law where it would be unlawful to do so. Any lawful exclusion or limitation must be read subject to this protection.

We do not promise that the Website covers all products, that a particular result will meet every requirement, that a price or product remains available, or that external information is free from error. These limits describe the scope of the service; they do not excuse misleading conduct, a failure to meet applicable standards of care, or another breach of law.

Responsibility for a loss depends on the circumstances and applicable law, including each party’s conduct, causation and any duty to reduce loss. You are not required to indemnify Robotico merely for using the Website, and these Terms do not impose a fixed monetary cap on your available legal remedies.

11 Corrections and complaints

If you believe information is wrong, out of date, unsafe or infringes your rights, email hello@robotico.com.au. Include the relevant page address and enough detail for us to identify the issue, without unnecessary personal information. For a purchase problem, also contact the seller where appropriate.

You can raise a concern with us without giving up the right to contact a regulator, consumer protection agency, court or tribunal. These Terms do not require arbitration, impose a shortened claim period or make an internal complaint a condition of pursuing a legal remedy.

12 Changes to these Terms

We will publish revised Terms with an effective date and last-updated date. Changes apply prospectively and do not alter rights or liabilities arising before the change. For a material change affecting users’ rights or obligations, we will give reasonable prominent notice before it takes effect, except where an urgent legal or security change requires earlier action. Where consent is required by law, we will obtain it.

If you do not agree to a revised version, you may stop using the Website. Stopping use does not remove rights or obligations that already arose. A change to the Privacy Notice or commercial disclosure does not override these Terms or non-excludable legal rights.

13 Governing law and general provisions

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and applicable Commonwealth laws. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and courts entitled to hear appeals from them. This does not restrict any forum or protection that applicable law gives you.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it is ineffective only to that extent, and the rest continues if it can operate lawfully. A failure to exercise a right immediately does not by itself waive that right. These Terms do not exclude liability for a representation or other conduct where the law does not permit that exclusion.

Disclaimer

Effective date: 6 November 2026 | Last updated: 6 November 2026

Scope and shopping results

Robotico is operated by Internet Plus Pty Ltd (ABN 68 121 770 152), trading as Robotico. We help people in Australia find places to shop for domestic robots. We cover selected sellers and products. A shopping link may carry only some of your requirements. Check which filters the seller has applied, and confirm any remaining requirements for the specific model. The seller may apply its own sorting, and the order of products on its site does not indicate a Robotico recommendation.

Robotico does not inspect your property or certify that a product suits your circumstances. Check prefilled answers and each link’s stated limits.

Research and accuracy

Editorial material may include research and opinions. Do not assume hands-on testing unless the page describes it. Check sources, dates and limitations. Manufacturer claims and retailer descriptions may not have been independently verified. Concept and AI-generated images do not demonstrate actual product features or performance.

Before buying and using a robot

Prices, specifications, stock and sale terms can change. Confirm the exact Australian model, accessories, total price, ongoing costs, installation requirements, warranty and returns with the seller. Check suitability for your surfaces, dimensions, slopes and other conditions.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety warnings. Obtain qualified advice where needed, particularly about installation, electrical work, water or falls. Consider children, pets and other hazards. Automated operation does not establish that unattended use is safe.

Retailers and commercial relationships

Purchases are made with the seller identified at checkout. External sites have their own terms and privacy practices. Contact the seller about its sale and any remedy it must provide. You retain any rights against Robotico for its own conduct or against another responsible person.

See the dated commercial disclosure at https://robotico.com.au/blog/#read-affiliate-disclosure. Earlier statements may not describe later arrangements. We will identify relevant affiliate, paid, sponsored, gifted or loan arrangements in affected content or links, and explain any influence on inclusion, placement or ranking.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies rights, remedies, guarantees or liabilities under the Australian Consumer Law or another law where doing so would be unlawful. These limits do not excuse misleading conduct or a breach of Robotico’s own legal obligations.

See the Terms of Use above. If there is a conflict, the provision that better preserves non-excludable legal rights applies; otherwise the Terms prevail. Report errors or ask questions at hello@robotico.com.au.
